In recognition of Earth Day, TaylorMade-adidas Golf (TMAG)
has banded together with local nonprofit, Sustainable Surplus Exchange (SSE),to
initiate a week of events focused on being green and choosing environmental
solutions.
Earth Day
is a global event, celebrated on April 22 in 192 countries to demonstrate their
support for environmental protection. It was first celebrated in 1970.
This year,
TMAG included SSE’s program, “ENGAGE! Carlsbad,” in their week-long festivities beginning
April 20. ENGAGE! is designed to help
companies and their employees understand and engage in the sustainable business
practices of reuse and recycling.
