CEO Sue Prelozni speaks about Passion |
Sustainable Surplus participated in the second annual Carlsbad
Love It! – Neighborhoods Empowerment Conference. The theme this year was “Working Together to
Build & Sustain Healthy Neighborhoods.”
SSE’s founder and CEO, Sue Prelozni, presented with City of
Carlsbad Community Coordinator Housing and Neighborhood Services, Sue Irey, on “Taking
Your Passion to Action,” to support your community. Their workshop
focused on how someone may take an idea that they are passionate about and
create an organization. Much of the subject matter was based upon Ms. Prelozni’s experience in creating Sustainable Surplus.
