SSE Recognized by State for Clean Tech

Sustainable Surplus was recently recognized by the State of California as an innovative program supporting clean technology.

Due to its nomination by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, SSE received the US Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition and the California Senate Certificate of Recognition for Clean Technologies.
“We are so pleased to be on the State’s radar for our efforts to build sustainable communities,” said Executive Director, Sue Prelozni.

SSE to Attend North County Economic Summit

Sustainable Surplus will be attending the North County Economic Summit, Wednesday, March 5 at the Carlsbad Sheraton.  Executive director, Sue Prelozni and board director, Irene Stillings, will learn the State of North County’s economy at the breakfast meeting.  Top economists, Mark Vitner, of Wells Fargo Bank, and Josh Williams of BW Research, will provide a regional report in light of the nation’s and the state’s key economic factors, followed by a panel discussion on high technology, industry expansion, policy, and the real estate market.
