Bristol Meyer Squibb of San Diego (formerly Amylin) donated
over 100 boxes of mixed office supplies to Sustainable Surplus. The boxes contained file folders, 3-ring binders, in/out baskets and a
sundry of office staples. “We’re so glad
to have them find a home,” said BMS facilities manager Lisa Travis. The surplus was due to the recent acquisition
of Amylin. “Bristol Meyer chose the path
of sustainability, and we’re happy they chose to support SSE,” said CEO Sue Prelozni. The items arrived just in time for SSE's next BYOB (Bring-Your-Own-Box) event on February 12.
