That is the theme of this year's Cause Conference hosted by
the San Diego chapter of the American Marketing Association, on Wednesday, May 28. Leaders from
nearly 300 local nonprofits will be participating, including Sustainable Surplus
executive director Sue Prelozni.
Some highlights of the topics to be covered include: 1) Understand social sector synergy to tackle
challenges, enrich colleagues, form “high trust” relationships, build mutual
value; 2) Refocus priorities with resourcefulness, not just resources, and 3) Use
“radical collaborations” to create transformational outcomes: a key element in
advancing the mission of “purpose-driven” groups.
The conference is celebrating its 16th year, focused on supporting the social sector.
