SSE Jumps into GiveBIG Campaign

On Tuesday, May 6, 2014, the San Diego Foundation will be hosting GiveBIG, an online networking and giving event where local nonprofits have the opportunity to gain exposure to new donors, and for people in the San Diego region to come together to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits in One Day.

Sustainable Surplus Exchange (SSE) is participating in this one day extravaganza, rallying its supporters to join in the fun challenge.

“It’s like crowd funding for nonprofits through social media,” SSE executive director Sue Prelozni described. 

For the next week, SSE joins local nonprofits, sharing the information on an almost daily basis to stir up interest, relationships, and then, of course, funding.
